Hi, I’m Amy — a photographer based in Scotland and South-West England, originally from the stunning west coast of Scotland.
My love for photography began when I was about ten years old, after receiving my first camera, a Nikon Coolpix, for Christmas. I was immediately drawn to capturing moments as they happened, and many of those early photos are still some of my favourite memories to look back on today.
What started as a creative hobby has grown into something I’m incredibly grateful for — the opportunity to develop my passion into Amy Anderson Photography, a business that allows me to do what I love while creating meaningful images for others.
My Approach
My approach to photography is simple — to keep every shoot relaxed, enjoyable, and natural. I want each session to feel easy and pressure-free, allowing things to flow without being overly staged or rushed.
I’m there not just to take photos, but to get to know my clients and create a positive, laid-back experience. By keeping things chilled and having a good time during the shoot, I’m able to get the best out of each session and capture images that feel genuine and authentic.
